About ICCI 2013 Energy Oscar Awards The ICCI 2013-International Energy and Environment Fair and Conference, the 19th of which was held this year by Sektörel Fuarcılık, between 24-25-26 April 2013, in Istanbul Fair Center. The ICCI, which became the most important sharing platform of the energy sector by gathering fair, conference and bilateral business talks (B2B) under a single roof, will present the Energy Oscars third time to their owners through "Energy Oscar Awards" ceremony. The Energy Oscars, which initially rewarded their owners last year under the scope of ICCI 2013, in order to promote enthusiastic works in the energy field, will also go third time to their new owners with a great ceremony to be held on September 2013. The Energy Oscars, presented to support services and contributions to the Energy Sector, which today has become one of the most important agenda items both in Turkey and in the world, also carries a mission to promote future projects and service to be made. The Power Plant projects will be honoured with Energy Oscars which are eight awards in two categories in scope of ICCI 2013 Energy Oscar Awards. The Energy Oscars rewarded to support investments, specifically, made in energy field will honor the best investments made this year in Renewable Power Plant; Wind, Hydropower, Geothermal energy, Biomass and Waste and Sun energy category. On the other end, Natural gas, Coal and Waste Heat projects will compete under the other category, Thermal Power Plants. Applications will be evaluated by energy oscar awards jury members, with a measurable point scoring system. Awards will be given to each categories' most voted plant. Following ICCI 2013-International Energy and Environment Fair and Conference, officers from Republic of Turkey, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and many representatives of academic and nongovernmental organizations as well as leading professionals of energy sector will participate in the ceremony to be organized in September 2013. |
